Brake Valve Reloaded
by Friedhelm Weidelich

On the adjacent track? Yes please!
by Friedhelm Weidelich
In the model railroad eras III and IVa, in which most of the Köf IIs from Steiner Modellwerke are running in gauge 1, their operation on the left track is unfortunately not possible with the correct signal at the train head. This can be set up with a little fine tuning on the installed locomotive sound decoder 5L from ESU, as well as a general reorganization of the locomotive operation towards more prototypical and better overview for the model railroader.

Removable Roofs on Gauge 1 Locomotives
by Gastautor
Removable roofs on the cabs of gauge 1 locomotives allow the interiors to be upgraded and equipped with simple means. Just like movable flaps and doors on engine compartments and front ends, they provide deep insights for the discerning eye of the technically interested locomotive collector. Individualizing and adding to the models are part of our hobby. For Ern Hettinger it is a very essential part.
