Signal Tower with Illumination
by Friedhelm Weidelich
The signal tower is based on a DRG prototype from the 1930s. The model has received a thin layer of plaster. The staircase, cast in concrete, is striking. The lighting is partly done with Dingler engine compartment lighting. There are bulbs behind a protective wire cage. An electric track diagram interlocking system is to be installed soon.
The signal box was photographed on the layout of the Spur 1 friends Berlin-Brandenburg. Next Thursday, 5 March, guests are invited there from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. to run their gauge 1 models.
